BHESA's International Mother Language Day Celebrations
On January 19, 2016 the Bangladesh Heritage and Ethnic Society of Alberta (BHESA) will celebrate the upcoming International Mother Language Day 2016 with a program at the MacEwan University, City Centre Campus.
BHESA and other allied organizations will be paying their homage to the language martyrs and will be celebrating the significance of this special day. Please join us with your family and friends to celebrate International Mother Language Day. BHESA nominated three dedicated volunteers for the Ekushey Heritage Award 2016 this year in recognition of their contributions to their fields or significant organizational endeavors.
This years' nominated recipients are:

· Ms. Morsheda Begum (Cultural Activist)
· Salma Jahan (Director of the Edmonton Bangla School)
