Welcome Project
Every year a significant number of Bangladeshi individuals and families are arriving in Edmonton (Canada) to settle and to make Edmonton their new home. Bangladesh Heritage and Ethnic Society of Alberta welcomes these new comers to Edmonton / Canada and provides free volunteer service call "Welcome" to all new comers for their settlements in Edmonton.
Our "Welcome-Project" includes these following services to new Bangladeshi immigrant in Edmonton:
· Guide to smooth transition into life in Canada
· Guide to find housing
· Guide to find jobs
· Guide to find schools
· Guide to apply and obtain ID's, like Health Card, Social Insurance
· Number, Driver's License etc?
· Guide to obtain free language courses
· Guide to obtain free computer coaching classes
· Guide to find and obtain community and government resources
