Iftar Party

During the blessed month of Ramadan, the members of the Bangladesh Heritage and Ethnic Society of Alberta (BHESA) from our Muslim community were very much engaged in prayer, fasting, charity-giving and self-accountability.

Activities of our organization were limited considering the spirit of the holy month.

On July 25, 2014 around sunset at 9:30 pm the executive committee of BHESA is arranging the annual Iftar Party to end the fast of Ramadan. The evening meal is held at the Al-Ameen Mosque on 5410-122 Ave in Edmonton, Alberta. Parking is available. Women and children are invited to join.

May Allah help us in our commitment to peace and unity in our community, practice self-restraint, cleanse the body and soul from impurities, and re-focus our self on the worship.
