Pohela Boishakh Celebration

April 25 is fast approaching!

Tomorrow starting at 4PM the Bangladesh Heritage and Ethnic Society of Alberta (BHESA) will celebrate the Bengali New Year 1422 (Pohela Boishakh) at the Pleasantview Community Hall in Edmonton.

We ask our community and anybody else interested to join us at the event.

BHESA will celebrate the Pohela Boishak (Bangla Nobo Borsho ? 1422) in traditional manner as it is celebrated in Bangladesh. The magnificient and colorful cultural program will contain music, dance, poems and much more. The Mela Booth will offer traditional food, such as Pantha/Fish with Shutkee Bhorta and Onion Fry, Chotpoti/Fushka, Pitha/Payesh and Chicken with rice and salad.

The celebration starts at 4PM-12PM.
Entrance is free!
