BHESA, the Bangladesh Heritage and Ethnic Society of Alberta has taken on the significant aim to preserve, promote and celebrate the culture of Bangladesh and its people. It focuses especially on heritage and history, while serving the local community in Edmonton and adjacent areas of the city.

As on organization dedicated to the community we value each of our members as an individual and as a part of our Bangladeshi community. We develop important aspects for a safe stay abroad, and we support our members and their families providing services of highest excellence for their hearts, souls, and minds.

The concept of heritage is not merely the acquirement of facts, it is also the acquirement of values which help us improve the different facets of our mankind. It ensures that we leave the society a far better place than we found it.

At BHESA we value each member's rights, interests and opinions as an individual and as a part of the community. We are committed to providing our members with an organizational experience that will develop every aspect of their being to their fullest potential. It is the culture of our organization to build and provide excellence and values to its stakeholders while initiating and formalizing the preservation of Bangladesh heritage.

As a small organization with a big cause, the preservation and promotion of the Bangladeshi culture, we enjoy the intimacy of being a small organization, and consequently, we are able to nurture strong bonds between our members and executives. It is this global mission, that makes us unique as community organization and it is our deepest hope and prayer that this unique organization will become a place for everyone participating.
